• Notes: Instead of a movie on Friday night, why not take a Japanese Lesson? Hills Learning offers an $8 language lesson to promote our Beginning Japanese class starting on the 23rd of August. Come visit our facility, meet your teacher, and enjoy the lesson! Please note: our trial classes are limited to 10 students and spots are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

Japanese Curriculum:

Learn the basics of Japanese, from greetings and basic conversational skills to being able to order food and shop. Our course is designed for the beginner who’s eager to learn basic Japanese phrases and develop a strong familiarity with the Hiragana alphabet. Regular homework will also be given.

Teacher Profile:

Our teacher, Kaori, has been teaching Japanese for a few years in New York City. She’s responsible for teaching our Beginning Japanese class, as well as the Advanced Beginner and Strictly Speaking courses. Kaori was recently featured in Chopsticks Magazine as an exemplary Japanese teacher in New York.
