Advanced Beginner Korean
 Course Description: This class goes more in depth for Beginners in the Korean language. The class covers how to express time and making appointments, as well as location and directions. Other more difficult conversational pursuits in Korean are making phone calls. Our course is designed for the adv. beginner who’s eager to develop their language skills further by reading and writing Hangul, as well as working on their conversational skills. Regular homework will also be given.Course Goals: To be able to tell time and make appointments, read and function in Hangul, and be able to handle more complex speaking situations such as phone conversations. Also to understand more about Korean culture. |
Course Curriculum: Follows Active Korean, please note that handouts will be provided. It is not necessary to buy your own text.
Maximum Attendance: We feel that having a smaller amount of students makes for a better language learning experience. Please sign up now as space is limited to 8 students.
Prerequisite: A basic understanding of Hangul and the Korean language. Students should be familiar with conversational topics such as restaurant ordering, introducing oneself, and shopping.
