Pre-Intermediate Korean

Korean ClassesCourse Description: ‘This class is the first in our series of pre-intermediate Korean classes, and goes more in depth for advanced beginners of the Korean language. The class covers deeper grammatical concepts such as asking opinions and making suggestions, purpose and intention and conjecture. Writing and speaking practice is also emphasized in this course.

Course Goals: To develop a deeper understanding of Korean, in particular its grammatical structure and vocabulary used when speaking the language. Writing skills will also be improved.

Course Curriculum: Follows Active Korean, please note that handouts will be provided. It is not necessary to buy your own text.

Maximum Attendance: We feel that having a smaller amount of students makes for a better language learning experience. Please sign up now as space is limited to 8 students.

Prerequisite: Three semesters of 2 month sessions of Korean, or equivalent. Fluency in Hanguel and basic grammar listed in Active Korean textbooks 1 and 2 is recommended. Please contact us at classes@hillslearning.com with any questions in regards to placement.
