Employment – Teach at Hills Learning
AVAILABLE POSITIONS –
We are currently recruiting instructors for the Thai, Japanese, Korean and Chinese languages. Cantonese instructors are welcome to apply but we do not have any current openings.
We are looking for language instructors who have a good command of the target language as well as a background in linguistics or other formal grammatical study.
The instructors must be native of the target language with enough formal education in that language to ensure they can serve as good models for conversational activities. They must also be able to provide cultural insights into the culture which uses the target language.
All prospective instructors must have permission to work in the U.S. (i.e., be US citizens or have a visa which permits employment).
The first step we require is for applicants to fill out our application form. Then we check background, visa status, references, and then if everything checks out we move forward to the interview stage.
We’re currently looking for fluent or near fluent speakers of our core languages (Japanese, Chinese, Korean and English) to help writing articles for our blog and partner websites. Ideal candidates will possess a track record of good writing skills, and will need to demonstrate their knowledge and abilities in the target language of their choosing.
