Advanced Chinese Conversation Class

Course Description:This class is designed for students that have an understanding of the Chinese language and want to continue to improve their reading, listening, and most importantly speaking abilities in the language. The class consists of readings about  cultural interests in China, business, history, and other topics that encourage conversation and dialog within the class. New grammatical structures and vocabulary will be introduced each class, and homework will be assigned.

Course Curriculum: Created by Hills Learning, please note that handouts will be provided. It is not necessary to buy your own text.

Course Goals: To improve your ability to articulate yourself in Chinese, beyond regular daily conversation. Writing and reading skills will also be improved.

Cost – $240 for an 8-week course. Please note there are no registration or mandatory material fees

Maximum Attendance: We feel that having a smaller amount of students makes for a better language learning experience. Please sign up now as space is limited to 8 students.

Prerequisite: At least 3 years of Chinese language instruction or equivalent. Experience living in a Mandarin speaking country or speaking the language for multiple years is highly recommended. Please contact classes@hillslearning.com with any questions.
