Chinese III

Course Description:This is the next level course after Advanced Beginner Chinese. The goals of this course are to enhance and encourage basic speaking competency in Mandarin Chinese, and to introduce Chinese used in business situations. The language skills obtained from this intensive course are aimed towards situational fluency, such as making appointments, traveling and other functions of everyday life.

Prerequisite: Completed at least 24 hours of instruction in Chinese or equivalent. Some topics that are recommended you have familiarity with are weather, hobbies, greetings, family, pinyin, and basic Chinese characters. Please email classes@hillslearning.com with any questions.

Cost: Below is the cost of tuition, please note there are no registration fees.

The cost for 8 classes (1x a week) is $325 $309 early registration

The cost for 16 classes (2x a week) is $549 $515 early registration

Course Goals: To be able to perform basic tasks in China, pronounce all pinyin properly, and perform greetings in business situations.

Course Curriculum: Course follows Integrated Chinese and created by Hills Learning, please note that regular homework will also be given. It is not necessary to buy your own text.

Maximum Attendance: We feel that having a smaller amount of students makes for a better language learning experience. Please sign up now as space is limited to 8 students.
