LANGUAGES

We are looking for instructors in our core languages of instruction. This includes Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Mandarin), Cantonese, Thai, Arabic and Vietnamese.

PART TIME HOURS

Our busiest hours are Monday to Thursday evenings 550 to 720pm and 730 to 900pm. Ideal candidates will have at least one weekday evening available. We also have weekend classes.

TEACHING METHOD

Please read in detail about our teaching method. We expect teachers to be able to teach in immersion style, or target language only, and not English. This requires a certain technique using visual contents, cues and material creation. It also needs an intuitive ability to be understood even by beginners when you're speaking in your language of instruction.

We also expect teachers to have fun, interactive activities where we aim for class time to be 60% student speaking time and 40% teacher talking time. 

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for language instructors who have a good command of the target language, and ideally, experience teaching or equivalent background. The instructors must be native-level of the target language with enough formal education in that language to ensure they can serve as good models for conversational activities. Teachers must also be able to communicate in English at an intermediate business level. All prospective instructors must have permission to work in the U.S. (i.e., be US citizens, have a green card, or have a visa which permits employment at multiple employers).
